Class 5 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to St Teresa’s Rest Home this morning. We did not stop laughing thanks to Eirian who entertains the residents down there! The children spoke to the residents then played games of bowling, quoits and the alphabet game. We hope to develop these activity-based visits in the future.
We were delighted to welcome Canon Paul Watson to our school today.
Canon Paul told us more about Mission Together and we learnt about Sandra who is a refugee in Jordan.
We were delighted to be able to present Canon Paul with a cheque for £114 – this was money we raised last week on our Day of Many Colours. This money is enough to provide a meal for 76 children.
Pupils from Class Five spent the day at The Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran.
We explored the nature trails and had the opportunity to work with Gretchen, Pam and Sophie who taught us lots of new facts about the wildlife in our own locality.
Congratulations to pupils from Class 3 who celebrated their First Communion at Holy Name Church on Sunday.
On Tuesday we held a special Mass in school to celebrate.

Classes 3 and 4 enjoyed a great day at Scolton Manor – they learnt all about bees and their importance to the environment.
Class Five spent an enjoyable morning with local author Tim Wickenden.
They took part in a fabulous workshop.
He wrote a book dedicated to Class Five that included many familiar characters.
Class 1 enjoyed a trip to Goodwick beach this week.
