On Thursday 30th January Class 2 went for a tour around the Lifeboat station in Goodwick. We learnt about the offshore and inshore lifeboats and how they work. We also got to hold crabs and lobsters! Then, we went for a tour around the Stena Europe. We were lucky enough to visit the bridge where we sat in the Captain’s chair and looked at all the charts and computers.

Class 5 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to St Teresa’s Rest Home this morning. We did not stop laughing thanks to Eirian who entertains the residents down there! The children spoke to the residents then played games of bowling, quoits and the alphabet game. We hope to develop these activity-based visits in the future.
