On Monday this week we celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day with a special school Mass.

Pupils from Class 4 prepared readings and prayers and we joined parishioners and parents in Holy Name Church.

“It was amazing because I drew a Fantastical Beast – it was a cross between an elephant and a runner”

“My favourite part of the day was Quiddich – it was great fun – like a twist on Bench Ball”

Pupils from Years 5 and 6 spent a few days at Llangrannog Urdd Centre last week

Iestyn: I liked lots of things – the zip line was great because it was high – I was nervous but after I had done it I felt proud.

Maggi: It was really good – we learnt a lot and did new activities.

Jess J: It was great fun, we went on loads of activities and had a great time with our friends.

Jac: My favourite part was high ropes and the wall because they were fun and I had to trust my friends.

Reuben: Quadbikes were great, they were really fast.

Our attendance target for this school year is 95.5%

Our whole school attendance is currently 95.9%

Pupils from Years 5 and 6 went to Ysgol Caer Elento take part in  Cynhadledd – ‘Un mewn miliwn’ – Conference

They enjoyed taking part in a rage of activities and had opportunities to develop their spoken Welsh.

Today some of our Y6 pupils worked with PNCPA, Pembrokeshire Youth Services and pupils from Ysgol Bro Gwaun to plant some trees in our playground.

They planted some native trees that we hope will grow for us to enjoy in the future. They will provide homes for wildlife and provide us with shelter from the sun.

Despite the cold weather everyone worked really hard.

We had a visit today from some of the characters in this year’s pantomime.
