Creating Strong Passwords

Making a strong password can be hard, but you don’t want your password  to be to easy to guess as others could access your accounts. Avoid using your date of birth, your name or your pet’s names.

An example of a secure password is Li0nK1ng55 rather than LionKing as it uses a mixture of Numbers, lower case and upper case letters.

Watch Digital Dan’s advice on choosing a safe password:

Having  a password like Li0nK1ng55 is tricky to guess when someone is trying to hack your account, but if you do LionKing  then your account could more easily get guessed and hacked.

If on your account settings says: 2 step verfication, Account Pin for changing settings etc, then tick it to make it even more difficult for others to access your accounts.

Try and remember your password as well as you can, rather than writing it down. It is also a good idea to try to make different passwords for different accounts!

Remember never share your passwords with anyone!
