Pupils from Classes 2 and 3 enjoyed taking part in a mindfulness session this week.

They learnt lots of techniques to help them feel calm and relaxed.

Class Two visited Lowertown as part of their Transport topic.

Trevor Morris talked to us about the history of Ropewalk, The Slade and told us about a ship called The Gwaun Maid that was built in Lowertown.

This week all the classes in Holy Name School have been sharing their Christmas Plays with family and friends.

Classes 1 and 2 performed a nativity called Born in a Barn.

Classes 3 and 4’s play was called A Magical Christmas Story

Class 5’s Pantomine was Cinderella.

Classes One and Two visited Scolton Manor.

Even though they got caught in a downpour and many children lost their wellies in the mud they had a fabulous time.
