Classes 2 and 4 worked with JC Theatre Company this morning taking part in workshops designed to enhance their new topics.

Class 2 learnt all about The Great Fire of London whole Class 4 were transported back to The Sixties.

Thank you to all the parents who attended Meet The Teacher sessions after school tonight.

Individual Teacher/Parent meetings will be in October.

A revised guide is now available to provide parents and carers with information on the Foundation Phase curriculum.

It aims to help parents understand how their child will learn throughout their time in the Foundation Phase and the types of activities their child may be engaged with.

The guidance also includes information on the National Literacy and Numeracy Framework and the Digital Competence Framework, which form a key compotent of the curriculum.

Mrs Johnson came to tell us about the exciting Summer Reading Challenge!

You need to read 6 books over the summer to win Dennis the Menace scented stickers, a map, fortune teller and a medal.

The challenge starts today, so please head up to the library to start.

We’d love to see lots of Holy Name School pupils completing the challenge!

Today we enjoyed our whole school trip to Folly Farm.

Pupils enjoyed seeing the animals, visiting the Fairground rides and spending time having fun together.

Congratulations to the pupils from Classes 4 and 5 who represented the school at the Primary School Rugby Festival today.
